I love to swap! I think besides "collecting" nailpolishes and expanding friends with the blogging community the best thing is swapping with those whose share the interest :) Someone else, mostly in a complete different country, takes the time and lots of efford to pick out items they want to share with you. they add candies of fun goodies they really want you to try out. It means so much to me!! Just by opening a package the mailman delivers, a little bundle of joy and happiness pops out as well.

My latest swap was with lovely Michelle from Cosmetic Cupcake. Just look at all the goodies she sent me!!!

Loads of amazing polishes, yummy dino-candy and cookies ( TimTam cookies...they didn't survive very long ), lots of beauty products and velcro hair patches which very completly new to me!

Look at those lovely polishes :) My very first Australian brands woop. OzoticPro, GlitterGal (look at the cute bottle with the cap filled with rhinestones), Bys, Mode, Ulta3. I'm so hppy with them :) last bottle (yellow colored substance/white cap) is a pepermint cuticle oil whcih is amazing!!

Bys blush is a dupe of NARS Orgasm, looks perfect on my pale skintone! Bubblegum flavored/scented Snow Fairy liptint by Lush...everyone should have this. FOA mini mousse is as crease proof as they claim to be, applies perfect on skin.

This a little half-way done manicure, it needed another coat and ofc a tc, but look at those shimmers already!! this is nr 521. The polish dries up quite quick, perfect glossy look and the color/pigments are amazing.

I reaallly really hope <--big hint ;), to swap again with a lovely blogger from Australia. I love your products and they made me realise I'm more into my addiction then I want to admit haha :)

Hello sweeties!!

Yesss I'm still alive.

I didn't took a planned absence, things just went the way the went :) I'm trying out a new mmorpg besides Wow...SWTOR, but I won't bore you with that too much ofc. I've had some amazing swaps with gorgeous sweet people, from blogging community and MUA, which only resulted in a bigger bigger obsession with make up haha. I'm trying to excercise more at a local gym. Ofc as always work is a big issue in my life as well, though I don't really get full satisfaction from what I do, it does take up loads of energie and to really sit down, review products or make a nice mani/pedi or tell a fun little story..I'm sorry but I couldn't really find the strength atm :S

But I'm done with the relaxing woooop. It feels like I've came out of hibernation and ready to show and share my fun stuff again...starting tomorrow haha. I've got a new pc as well meantime and I still need to upload many of my photos yikes :S

Enige tijd geleden via een (onafhankelijk) onderzoeksbureau, waar ik mezelf heb ingeschreven als test persoon, een hele doos met 5 verschillende geuren Ambi Pur 3volutions ontvangen om uit te mogen testen. Na ze allemaal getest te hebben probeer ik zoveel mogelijk mensen te bereiken hiermee. Ik ben zelf enorm enthousiast over deze vorm van geur verspreiden in je huis/woon-/werkomgeving.

Het werkt namelijk op de volgende manier; via een elektrische geurverspreider word om de 45minuten een van de 3 geuren verspreid die aanwezig zijn in het apparaatje. Zo heb je niet een eentonige geur in je huis waaraan je went en dus op een gegeven moment ook niet meer ruikt, maar word je je door de verandering van geurtonen bewust en blijf je de aroma's ruiken.

Op dit moment zijn er 5 verschillende geuren op de markt gekomen ( niet allen zitten in de startverpakking, maar zijn wel als navul geur beschikbaar) te weten; 1. Fresh New Day, 2. Japan Essence, 3. Oriental Dreams, 4. Heavenly Flowers en 5. Relaxing Countryside.

Zelf heb ik natuurlijk in deze weken m'n favorieten wel ontdekt. Zou je zelf ook een van deze geuren willen ontdekken ik ben in bezit van enkele kortingskaartjes (voor aankopen bij de Kruitvat) die ik je natuurlijk wil overhandigen. Zelfs heb ik geurkaarten om de geuren eens te vergelijken als je nog niet aan een startverpakking wilt beginnen.

Mij help je enorm door dit bericht rond te delen en meer mensen op de hoogte brengen van de nieuwe Ambi Pur artikelen.

Heb je zelf interesse om ook bij dit onderzoeksbureau ingeschreven te staan ( waarschijnlijk zal het niet lukken om aan de Ambi Pur actie deel te nemen, maar meerdere van dit soort zullen volgen), laat het mij dan weten. Ik zal ervoor zorgen dat ze contact met je opnemen.

Happy New Year my sweeties!!!!

Now on to my very first mani of the year...or last one of last year...

These are the polishes I've used. Applieing them in semibright light in front of the computer...wasn't really a good thing to do but I was bored and wanted to try out some new things.I won't call it a complete fail as it still has my favorite colors, pinksz & puplsz!!

So it wasn't reallly well done and after clean up and cuticle lotion it looked sparkly for me :)

I actually found out today, so I haven't made any purchases myself...yet...'cause this girl ( Petra Klous ) is selling Zoyas!!! The Zoya polishes I own are either bought through american webshops or bought by myself during my fab NY trip. I actually find them too expensive to buy from webshops as I know what they cost in normal shops, that's why I still have many many on my wishlist!! Perhaps soon this will change as they're available for me in my own country now :) Hurray!! I'll be waiting the new spring collection and some paycheck first.

Not only does she sell Zoya, but Konad, China Glaze, Pupa, Rimmel, Orly, Blaze and Sina. For dutch orders shipping is free from 25euros and above...international shipping..sorry can't find on the site. LE Catrice & Essence collections

I got some amazing Essence & Catrice LE sets lately and I haven't showed them all. I have been using them on a regular base, so I thought I'll just make a color wheel out of it :)

Essence-Fairytale (5 /6), Catrice - Big City Life, Essence - Ballerina Backstage, Catrice - Welcome to Las Vegas, and the last 2 spots for my Hema polishes.

Thanks to lovely Dolores and Ivana I got these 5 polishes yay!! I totally missed out on them, and I can't even recall if they were released in the Netherlands. I know Germany had them...but I ran into an empty display a couple of times boehoeee... From left to right; 2 Pixie Dust, 3 Once upon a time, 4 Humpty Dumpty, 5 Tinka's Dress & 6 Welcome to Wonderland.

Lubly Catrice's Big City Life collection. Loooved their palettes, but didn't buy any for myself :S Cause I had only just bought heaps of MAC and Kiko make-up and well...can't have it all right?! 1 London, 2 Berlin, 4 New York & 3 Sydney. I have no clue why they picked these colors for the cities really...

Essence - Ballerina Backstage, it took me a while to complete this. I had to travel to a couple of small villages nearby. 1 Dance the Swan Lake, 2 Wear your little tutu, 3 On your gracile tiptoe, 4 Do a floating pirouette and 5 Grand-plie in black (omg...this one is gorgeous!!!) I truelly think nr 5 was a huge hit. Is it me or am I the only one thinking nr 3 & 4 are sorbets?? they applied so weird and were so see-through.

Catrice's Welcome to Las vegas...I love them...all!! I even bought the black/gold glittery eyeliner and I wish I bought more of them. The body dustthingy I havn't used yet, but I felt that needed to come home as well :) 1 Lovely Sinner, 2 Alluring Night, 3 Star of the Show & 4 Drama Queen. Again the last one a black, glitters in this one are more subtle then Grand-plie in black. I love it and I think I'll polish my toes with it just now.

Hhmm I had 2 "spots" left so I used my 2 Hema Jip&Janneke polishes for it. They're not named just extremely colored :) a fuchsia pink and a silver. Apply okayish, shine well and were cheap!

Can't believe I haven't showed you all this omg...cause I've been using the eyeshadows and blush for quite a bit now...

A while ago I had a swap with Anouk from CupcakeBeauty, she sent me a suprise swap package filled with goodies I love! We did agree on some color "requirements" but rest was all a big secret ;)

Look at that cute bag with the poodle!!! It was filled with some samples grey matte eyeshadow by Esenceand a quad as well, blush by Catrice. These 3 products I've used most atm, I love how the grey matte looks on my skin/with my eyes :) The peachy blush is just perfect! Dark green glitter polish, Yves Rocher tiny polishes in Argent etincelant 33 and Corail irise 11, Essence Absolutly Stylish 40, Gosh Golden Dragon 564 ( I can't get this color anywhere since they changed their looks, I looove his color ) and Yves Rocher Brun Peau 81..I havn't used this one yet but it looks a bit like a red with a hint of braun in it but with pink tiny sparkles in it. I thought this will be my xmas polish :) A sweet looking nailfile and Gosh eye shadow primer waterproof...which I need now rainy/snowy season has gebun and I ride my bicycle to work very often ggrrr

Garnier released an a-ma-zing product!!! I actually have no idea when it was introduced first, but I do know it's been around a coupld of months. Just had to wait for the proper bargain discounts as I didn't wan't to spend full price on it, but I wish I did buy it earlier :)

BB-cream, no Idea what it stands for...all in 1 daily miracle skin protector. 1) fades away little visible lines , 2) evens your skin 3) glows your skin 4) hydrates your skin 24h (now this is weird cause I do tend to wash my face before going to bed, why do I wan't it to hydrate 24h?! ) and 5) spf 15 protection oeh! ( I picked out the light version, there is a darker version available for us as well )

Now check out what it does to my skin, I took a wee bit drop on my hand and rubbed it in. Compare the first with the last photo to see how my little spots on my hands "disappeared"

Yes you can still see 2 tiny brown spots/birthmarks, but the others are almost gone. But this is all without the feeling of a thick layer really. I love it so much. My face indeed feels very very hydrated and nourished during the day. I don't have to wear any foundation since this covers well enough. It doesn't smear on clothing at all. I will use this more often for sure!

my new MAC obsession

I can't really recall when it all happend, but I'm pretty sure my NY trip had to do somethign about it....but I'm slightly getting addicted to MAC cosmetics. Already bought some items here in NL, I still find the prices quite high here. Yes I know I know quality /price blabla, but I really think this brand is worth the money, only just US dollars not my euros. So I bought a couple of items on allmakeupwholesale and had the opportunity to swap some on MUA as well yay!!

sheen supreme lipstick Impressive, paint pots Girl Friendly & Delft, liquidlast liner Visionaire, fluidline Blitz&Glits (with tiny brush, very very handy!!) and a studio fix pressed powder which I will not use, yet, till my end of the swap has arrived.

Now I'm not very handy with the paintpots yet, I have a little practise to do :) Specially the blueish Delft as it can "stain" quite a bit if I don't smear it out even. Was thinking of buying a descent brush for it, but I have no clue which brush as I searched down for tutorials it seems everybody uses his/her own kind of way to apply it :S Ideas are always welcome!!

I'm completly in looove with the lipstick and pink eyeliner, I mean...they're so pinkish both!! What more do you want :)

A while ago, like 6months :), I wrote about a swap I had with a sweety called Nikolina ( read here ) I was thrilled to have my very first Inglot and the colors I picked out were just perfect!! The quad contains numbers; 397, 487, 482 and 434 the gelliner is nr 75. The brand itself was completly new to me, as it wasn't even being sold in my country and I only heared rumours about it and other poeples blogposts. What triggered my mind most was the brightness of the colors and all people were saying was how magnificent coverage and pigmentation the products have. ( I btw picked out these specific colors after reading a post on Joey Chong's blog which you can read here )

During my little trip in Ny I did visit the Inglot shop for about 3 times...but I couldn't make any purchase cause I had no clue where to begin at. I love the eyeshadows most I have to admit, but to combine another quad seems just so easy to do, yet so hard cause I was a little overwhelmed with all the beautiful colors and textures and aarghh...leaving the shop again :S Even my husband was confused at some point for me not buying anything, well i did buy something at all the otehr shops I had only just entered...why not this one right?!

Was I so cheerful when news came Inglot would open up a store in Amsterdam ( meantime there are 2 in NL I think...correct me if I'm wrong though ) in june this year. I set this shop on my shops-to-visit-next-time-I'd-be-in-A'dam-list....which was a while ago with my mom :)

We were the only 2 in the shop as we went on a monday...and mondays shops open up quite late ( 13ish ) and we already had a little walk from the train to Bijenkorf and towards this street. So we had the entire place for ourselves, and the sweetie, Eefje ( sorry have to note your name ) who worked that day was sooo super sweet to us I just had to buy something!! Well yes that and the fact I had my mind already set up on a triple eyeshadow freedom system thingy.

So I already had the quad and eyeliner nr 75...I bought liner nr 74 as well :) I love my purpleszz and for the triple thingy i picked out nr; 500, 502 and 467. ( fun things is mom picked out the the first 2..and last has same hint of color as well...and we were walking seperate through the shop ) as far as I can remember the triple was 20euros and the liner 12euros, which isn't a lot in my opinion. We got to pick the colors we want, the item has a perfect pigmentation and quite a bit of product. I would definatly buy again at Inglot A'dam, if anyone wants to brag up on their fav Inglot products pls do so, perhaps it'll convince me to take it along next time I visit the shop ;)

Glossybox in the Netherlands

A while ago I saw a little advert passing by as I was hunting the net for bargains. Glossybox would come to my little silly country as well...hurray :) I had seen these lovely boxes filled with miniature goodies all over the blogs and I felt left out for living here boehoee. Yes sometimes we wanna participate in the cool stuff as well ;)

Seeing the advert made me so curious that I immediatly signed up for it. Each month starting from November on you'll be getting a little box delivered filled with small goodies. ( costs would be 12,50euros including shipment ) Once received you can place a little review on their site to earn certain tokens ( 20 tokens per product, max 100 tokens per delivered box ), that way you can collect 1000 tokens to get yourself a free box! And if you feel like signing out of the program, it's no problemo either all can be arranged on their site/ your account.

Today I received the box at work, since I'll be spending most daytime there I didn't want to burden my neighbours with yet another parcel to claim for me. Normally I would have ripped the box open and inspected it and show it to my colleagues, but I was ill leaving for home :( I saved it for a better moment later on after some sleep.

Hellooo again :) and welcome new followers ofcourse

It's been little over a week ago since I posted last, but I had some very very important fun things to do besides posting....shopping!! Haha. actually it was very cultural and learnful, but indeed it involved loads of shopping as well ;)

Me and the hubby went for a midweek to Berlin. We had a perfect hotel, which was situated in the center and was easy to get to by subway, the weather was great. November can be a little harsh, but it wasn't cold at all and we had sun all 5 days. We ate at various restaurants italian, mexican, vietnamese nomnom, seen lots of architectal and cultural cool things ;) We even did 4 museums on sunday!! ( I loved the Pergamon one with the fabulous sculptures and tales and stories behind it about it )

I won't bore you with any photos and more tales about my findings in Berlin..unless you want me to ofc, I can always get back to it. I do want to share my happy buying with you, since my colleagues can't believe it all fitted in my one tiny suitcase I brought along.

I bought...a Desigual coat ( finally!! but only since it was in the outlet part of the shop, I find them way too expensive other ways ), a Desigual shirt ( a red one with a geisha-ish cartoon face on it ), a pair of lovely laced up boots with wedge soles ( dark brown ones, I never buy brown shoes! ), a black Fossil watch, CK One Shock ( on the airport ofc ) and Kiko make-up....we don't have Kiko shops.

Glamorous eye pencil nr 414 ( black with a hint of glitter), pigment loosepowder nr 5 a lilac/purple, colour sphere baked eyeshadow nr 41 again...purple :) 2 velvet mat lipsticks nr 602 & 614 a raspberry redish and a nude peach-like. I did buy a nailpolish as well...but I can't show it yet as I bought the exact same for a swap for someone ;) Was kind of tricky to buy the polishes since we had our tiny suitcases which we took with us on the plane, I was afraid they wouldn't let me take it...but I got past the checks!!

When we came back home there were some nice packages waiting for me as well...besides our silly cats :) 2 swap packages ( 1 from a lovely blogger and 1 from a fellow MUA-er...yes I have discovered MUA! ) and a little shopping-spree on AMW...gosh I am so addicted :S I'll show you all later on... :)

OPI Muppets!!!!

A while ago I received an email from Dollupnails, one of the online shops where I regularly buy polishes. OPI-Muppets collection was available for preordering. As I scrolled down their website I instantly knew which other polishes I wanted to add to the order, but to pick out a couple of Muppets' oeehh that was so difficult!

I tried to search down swatches, but it was hard since the collection avaible yet. And the only photos available were from nailwheels or small presskits it seemed cause I saw the same colors each time. So trying to make a decision I came to the following colors;

Excuse moi!, Rainbow Connection, Divine Swine, Gone Gonzo!, Meep Meep Meep
2x Merry Midnight, Crown me Already!, Pink Shatter

This is one of the few collections I was reaalllyy looking forward to and had my hopes set on getting some :) So the fact that it was only just a pre-order and I had to wait a while, didn't spoil any of my fun, it was pure excitement! As always my order arrived perfectly (perfectly packed, always great communication through emails) and it felt like a little xmas party in October with all those glitsorz haha. The only thing I regret is not having picked out more colors .... ;)

I told you all I was lucky enough to find several entire LE polish collections by Catrice and Essence. in the end it turned out more then I even hoped for; Papagena, Bohemia, Natventurista, Ballerina Backstage, Enter Wonderland...

But I was recently very very lucky at Sephora in Rotterdam!

As many dutch will recommend this, our Sephora shops are hidden in other shops. The little corners are devided over the Netherlands in the V&D retail shops. V&D has this little thing called "Circus of prices" which will last for about a midweek, filled with amazing sales on well everything the do sell!! This fantastic discount action is as well avaible in their Sephora shop-in-shops; pick out 3 pieces of makeup by the Sephoa brand only for 10euros.....yes you've read it correctly; 10euros!!

So why does V&D do this?! Is it to clean out old stock orr...I must admit I'm not even bothered about the answer :) All I know is since V&D doesn't have a shop in my town anymore I feel amazingly happy when I stop by one which has this sale :)

I was in Rotterdam with my colleague cause we "had" to attend a special presentation of Vichy's latest Derm Source Lift Activ product, hence you see a small bag filled with a Vichy jar in it. Great presentation, filled with yummy food and a present at the end ;) But before we went there we had a little time for shopping. We stopped by one of the MAC selling points and I picked out an eyeshadow from their latest collection called Mythical. Normally I'm not into these redtype colored eyeshadows, but swatches and info had triggered my thought about it, since it's a great combo with blue colored eyes!! I just wanted to try it out :) I bought a pair amazingly cool black suede platform heels, so I'll just have to train a little at home ( I normally wear only flat shoes/boots cause of work )

At Sephora I picked out 3x my favorite mascara!! (these are normally 18,70euros), 2 different types of foundations and a little jar with "immediate wrinkle filler". My colleague had purchased some items for her family as well. We both had an amazing time in the train back home as we watched our receipt and laughed a little. Normally I would have payed about 107euros for what I picked out...now it was only 20euros O_o

As I'm almost always too late buying full/new collections at my local Kruitvat, I was lucky enough to buy 2 LE collections and ow boy was I happy ;)
Catrice's Bohemia LE collection of polishes inlcuding; 1) Yes, You Tan!, 2) Bring Me Terra Copper!, 3) Looking Sunkissed and 4) Be Indiglow
Essence Natventurista LE polishes; 1) You're My Dragonfly, Sugar!, 2)Mother Earth Is Watching You, 3) Brarefoot Through the Moss and 4) Chirp, Chirp!

This is 2 layers of Chirp, Chirp! over Sally H. basecoat. It's a nudish beige color with a hint of pink shimmer in it. As I did Google for some more swatches I came acros pictures of bloggers where you can really see the green shimmer as well. I must admit I can't tell that from my bottle nor my nails...and I don't really miss it either ;) it just suprised me a wee bit. I looove this kind of nude colors, like the have a little secret extra that will be reveiled in certain angles. Polishes stayed on very well, 4 days without any chips or anything. I think it's a brilliant base for stamping, but that has to be tried out by me still :)

Sooo I'm always a bit curious when I read other peoples blogs. Specially about how to purchase or get my hands on some of the fabulous items shown. And as you continue to read you do learn some tips and tricks. The abreviation MUA has caught my eye various times, and I just had to google up what's this about?! A wonderful world of swapping came up woohhaa!!! As I do have some items that could use a better home, mostly brand new items and some used, I thought it would be handy to enter the world of MUA as well. Easier said then done :S I did make an account, plced some of my items on it...but still need to learn with tips and tricks what to do really.

So if any of you have useful information for me, or just slight tips on what to do or specially not to do..I'm always open for those!!!

Meantime I will probably shut down my swappage on this blog, to see if I like MUA better. I go there by the name "Martjebr" if you're interested :)

Sleek + my first Nyx lipsticks

I've never ordered with Boozyshop before, but I've read so many good things about them that I just had to try it. One of my colleagues always compliments me with my choisse of eyeshadow use and I suggested her a while ago to buy some Sleek palettes herself as well. Now I thought it was time for her to get introduced in the wonderful world of Sleek ;) ( and I wanted to buy myself some goodies as well ofc haha ) My first Sleek was the Original palette...I thought this would be indeed a good way to start. For myself I picked out the BadGirl palette. Since autumn and winter are on it's way I like to use some darker colors ( heavier fragrances are out of the closeth as well ). Aaand since I thought this would be enough eye products ( I ordered some MAC items as well....they will soon be aded to my stash of goodies ) I picekd out my very first Nyx lipsticks!

I did a tiny swap with Stéphanie from (So) Origi'nail . She got her lemmings...and I got Sephoras amazing monoi tiare goodies, which I adore mmmmm. I love the smell/scent so much. Could easily wear the Sephora perfume for the rest of my life!!! ( I am saving the little bathing cube for my weekend away to Berlin...so I can soak in it after a hard day of shopping haha).

Take a look at those 2 adorable rings which she made!!! Must admit I have been wearing the chocolate chip cookie a little more and getting big compliments. Specially when I tell them my new french friend made them ;)

I wanted to show you one of my day gift my hubby gave me :) It's a custom made tag which he picked out on this dutch website, but I'm pretty sure each country has one...or even more., just google for tag company.

Text ofc can be picked out by yourself, hubby choose for my nickname, date of birth and my emailaddress. When you have small kids you can put on some useful information for when the child gets lost, or when your loved one is gone for military services you can make a copy of his personal tags so you can keep him close, or your favorite lines fro a movie/book/song :)

The stickers you see in the photo are so called covers which you can apply yourself to the back of the tag. 2 of the girl sets are shown, still haven't picked out which I want to apply :S The chains can be picked out from various colors and there are special rubber rings available as well to use as sort of a cover. Many many combos available.

I really think it's a fun acessoire and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have another one made...but not sure what text to put on it.. Fast delivery with this company, they claim to send out the next day (I can't tell cause it was a gift, all I know was "the sent out fast" ), and a great price/quality. Basic goes for 10euros, price rises depending on what you add (covers, stickers, colored chains etc) :)

Soooo I think this polish has been shown quite some times, I'm gonna show it as well mhuahaha. To me it's one of the best polishes made ever. It can be cool, pretty, grungy, classy, edgy, vampy, sophistocated....to wear. Too many asecpt to name really. I love it! polish itself was perfect to use, 2 thin layers and it was amazing. The amount of glitters all over the nail very spread out as I liked it to be, and the blackness was just enough as well. Worked very well to wear to work, getting quite some compliments on it ;)

I'm having a week of extreme...doing nothing haha. And at the end I'm sooo lazy, I'm walking around in my pj's eating and playing videogames. It's the last day of my week off/bday "vacation", work starts tomorrow again, and I don't even want to think about it!!

All I really did was playing games, watch tv and sleep. Didn't really had anything major planned either, except a day shopping in Antwerp with my friend on my bday which was amazing. Weather was perfect, it felt like good old times shopping...yet we both didn't buy that much, still was a great day!!

This is an extremely difficult color to capture in a photo. Some bottles have an amazing oily/duochrome look, mine has it a little as well!! When applied it leans a bit to pink/purply, very sheer can easily wear up 4 thin layers which dry very fast. Looove the color and polish!!

Ooeeh look at this pretty pretty :) It's Sally H. Nail Prism Pink Rose Diamond, which I bought on Evulbay and not regreted it at aaalll. I love my Arley , OPI DS, Teeez, S-he holos...and all the bransd I spontaniously seem to forgotten :S Don't get me wrong, each brand has it's own uniquenes. But this one...was pure unicorn-pee on my nails. It applied perrrfect with 2 thin layers, no base or tc and lasted at least 4 days without tipwear. Love love love it!!

Don't you love cupcakes!! The come in various shapes, sizes, colors, tastes etc etc. I was lucky enough to taste some amazing ones during our NY trip. Even though I will never ever bake any that will match the quality of bakerys cupcakes. But I always love to try out new stuff!!

This was the first time I made ganache (a mix of chocolate, butter and cream) and I will defo make it more often, nomnom it tasted just great! After a night in the fridge it looked all perfect as well.

The soft lilacs have an icing with cream cheese..which was somewhat thin, but tasted so sweet!! I love adding edible glitsorz :)

ooeehhh and!!! I HAD to buy these polishes, they`re just unpacked, haven`t even opened a bottle!! China Glaze's 2011 halloween collection wooop.

It's Alive, Haunting, Black Mesh (crackle), Near Dark, Crimson, Gouish Glow (glow in the dark), Fast Forward Top Coat (amazing product!!)

I`ve got a week off from work, which is purely relaxing, celebrate my bday on 1st of September by shopping with my friend in Antwerp, and paint my nails!! I`m pretty sure these polishes will pass as well. But first I have some beauties on my desk which I gained from sweet swaps ;)

I wanted to show you some great pics of my new lovely OPI - My Address is "Hollywood" polish. I spend some time filing my nails a bit shorter and in shape, doing my cuticles or rather get rid of them etc etc. Painting them in an extremely gorgeous pinky (slight hint of coral) with shimmers in it....but I descided to do some gardening and didn`t think about taking any photos before that :S So my entire mani is ruined and all I can do is laugh really. Polish chipped of at a few nails, 2 nails miss a piece of nail as well, skin is all dirty and yuck!! They just need 2-3 days to get well again ;)

But!!! not to leave you all disapointed...I`ll show you something else.

This sweetie is Robin Frederique and she is my 2,5 week old niece. The first tiny baby I`m an aunt to and she`s allll cute and sweet :) and I think I will spoil her a lot.

Metallic Crackle Glaze!!

A while ago I had an awsome swpa with Carla and she helped me get some of teh lovely Metallic Crackle Glazes from China Glaze. I had been following them a bit on other peoples blogs, but the actually release took such a long time with my "regular" online shops and I reaallly wanted them. Didn`t want to miss out on these pretties!!

I picked out the following 3;

Haute Metal, a pinky metal

Latticed Lilac, purple/lilac toned metal

Oxidized Aqua, a blue/green metal

All crackles have a black Nfu Oh polish as "basecoat" and none have a tc. I looove them!! I think I love these metal ones even more then regular crackles. My colleague even wants me to get Platinum pives (and Crushed Candy) now ;)

My precious...mhuahaha...

the first flashes of photos apeared on 2 American bloggers posts and I already knew, whatever this was I want it! Days gone by...and still I hadn`t got a clue what it was and almost even forgot about it. And when you really start to forget things, boom, hurray it`s back again. I visited the local beautyshop, but ofc they wouldn't sell it, as they told me the Just Tinted collection would only be released in USA. So a little trip to Evulbay...yes again ;)...was inevitable.

Revlon - Just Tinted polishes. They looked amazing. Buildable colors, extreme see-through. I somewhat compare them to a blush on your cheek, dunno why?! They dry up somewhat matte, but using their special tc it looks almost like a sorbet like OPI's. ( I received the TC in a swap with Michy, as she knew these were on my lemminglist) From the 4 available colors 2 really got my attention; Mystical and Victorian...I ended up buying Mystical because it leans more to pinkish/purpleish...whilest Victorian is more of a coral.

This is 2 layers topped with Revlons special tc. See..veeerryy visible VNL, but the picture shows it more then I noticed it in rl. It dried quite quick, didn`t peel at all, there was slight tipwear after 2 days. Love it!!

Look at this beauty!! I received it in a swap with Rebecca. I think you can call this a eal good blurple, it actually looks more purpleish in the bottle, it dried up a bit darker then expected. Still it was a perfect polish to apply, 2 thin layers no streaks or runny at all. Dried pretty quick as well. AAaand worked amazing as base for stamping :) I wore it 1 day plain and simple, stamped some shoes on it the next day with a yellow and pink Konad stamping polish and wore it for 3 more days (with a tc). All you can see there is some slight tipwear, but it certainly gets a spot in my top10 awsome stuff!

First of all...I am trying to organise a giveaway of my own within the next couple of weeks, but Im waiting for some packages from USA and China to arrive...and Im working 50hr weeks atm, which give me limited time for shopping and exploring since I need my rest as well.

I`ve used these 5 gorgeous pinks from my latest swap with Michy. Pure Ice - First Love, Pink Ice, Lilac Mist, Watermelon Ice and Tease ( yes it has a slight blue shimmer in it!!). It was the first time I used this brand and I can tell you I love them! Watermelon Ice and Tease where a little more seethrough then the other 3, and tend to go a little strikey as well when you apply. But all polishes looked amazing after applying 3 thin layers., dried quite fast ( I did apply a fast drying tc after but that's due to habbit :S ) and I didn`t face any tipwear evenor peeling polish after 4 days!! Which is amazing for me, this really is my brand. I`ll be looking forward to use the glittersz as well.

Skorbee is the name/shop of the seller on Evulbay, and these are the things I've bought;

2 birdcage necklaces flat one and 3D one, key/double ring and a gorgeous "sparrow on a wooden tree" ring. Last one is so cute I had to have it :) I didn`t want to wait till all actions were about to due, so I hit the buy now option button straight away. the 4 items together cost me about $17-18, and shipping added would be a total of $26...I'm not sure anymore, but I thought it was well spent, casue I've seen a lovely birdcage necklace in Ny, didn't buy it :S but that one was $25!!

Items came in seperate silver or golden little bags and all together in a cute little red box, my own little present :)

When I received my CND polishes I went nuts, so many new discoveries of PB4L ( Polish Buddies 4 Life...yes I`ve invented this word myself ;) ) were created by just layering polishes on top of each other...and then all the cool crackles came and the sherbets etc etc...and my CND got all dusty in the Helmer till Jette woke me up haha.

Meanwhile I received 2 gorgeous polishes from swaps and both sweeties mentioned "this polish looks awsome layerd over black", then I was like whaaa...gotta try it out :)

Last week I bought a special cake pan for making a cake that you can fill after it`s all baked in the oven. The space left behind would be shaped like a little heart. I`ve seen this pan a couple of times on the internet and each time as I visited my special cake supply shop I reaallly wanted to have it, so it was time to take this baby home ;) Now the image of the product itself would be this;

My result....is this;

Pls don`t let the terrible look of my cake judge it all...it tasted just awsome ( cherry mmmm ) and even though it looks like the entire cake collapsed it still get`s 4 out of 5 stars to me haha. Practise makes perfect huh, better luck next time!

Finger Paints - Art Dealer Tael-er

I loooove Finger Paints polishes. I received my first in a swap and I got very hooked on them. The polish just glides on your nail ( brush is perfect btw ), dries well, no streaks etc and it lasts for at least 4 full days, which is a lot for me since I wash my hands on a regular base during the day..ieuww filthy money and patients etc etc ;)

When I was in NY, my hubby was ill for a day and I didn`t want be stuck in the hotel room either. So I grabbed our little tablet and Googled away...where would Sally beauty be..hmm.. As you may have read some other posts, I succeeded in finding the store and bought lots of goodies woop! Among those this cute tael-color.

Now call me colorblind or whatever. I love the color first of all, but is this really tael!? Cause I see a metallic minty. Perhaps if you close your eye a wee bit as if you`re looking to a painting from pointillism-style, then you would get this;

All blurry but yes more tael :)

Enough speculating about what kind of color it is, I love it that why I bought it and I will wear loads of times.

Now back to the kitchen cause I`m trying to bake a yummy cake!

Specially for Jette...and all my other readers ofc, 2 of CND effect polishes which have been part of my stash for quite some time now but don`t get used that often. Sparkle effect Raspberry and Jade( I also own Tael, but I swatched it before )

I`ve used 4 colors of polish on both hands, 2 layers, and then added Raspberry to my left hand and Jade to my right hand. After some photos I thought it would be fun to show you what a matte tc would do as well...cause I lub it a lot!

Green = OPI - Jade is the New Black, purple/taupe = OPI - Planks a Lot, black = Nfu Oh - 132 and grey/creme = OPI - Skull & Glossbones.

For mattefying effect I`ve added a layer of China Glaze - Matte Magic

I loooove this kind of effect on polishes. You can combine it with so many other colors and brands. You truely create something new, so I can`t tell you which is my favorite either. I only know it works perfect, glides on great, dries medium/fast...I do always end up using a fast drying topcoat and it`s way easier to clean off then glitters ..tha horrorrr!!! Hmm I haven't tried using them both together over a color yet...wonder what that would look like :)

A couple of weeks ago, Ivana & Dolores and me descide to have a little swap. I got them those lovely Teez holos ( sweet Dolores if you want pink still, I`ll take a look for you ;) ) and look what they gave me!!!

My secret wishlisted Essences woop!! I never found them here and I`m so happy I got these, nr 2-6. Color Club and WetnWild...aaannd my very first Sleek palette, with a tiny lipgloss for my mobile in Sweet Sixteen color, lovely pink!

Ivana let me pick out which I wanted and for a while I was doubting between Acid and original. Not having any Sleek products it would be safe to start of with the Original first. Ow wow what an amazing colors, and the products itself yes yes!! I love it so much...I`m in doubt of getting myself a couple more as well ;)

In the next pictures I`ve used nr 3 from both rows...hehe this is still sort of new to me. I`m in a very experimental fase in my life aheuhm of trying out what I like with make-up. And I love eyeshadows, I`m trying out different combos and colors. As I have mentioned before my work is kind of dull :S and my nails and make-up just spice it up a wee bit for me. I do get nice reaction from patients so it works for them as well!

2 layers of my favorite mascara by Sephora, Attomic boost, eye shadow primer by TooFaced, a hint of mineral blush by MAC and extremely pouted lips cause I was doing an amazing pose ;)
Haha my hair looks kind of funky so you can only see my huge fringe...my ponytail is all hidden :)

The more holo..the..euhm..better?! I love holographic polishes, the colors, the way the glitters play with light. Specially at work I love to wear pink toned holos, I get loads of comments ( good ones ) from patients and clients :)

As you can see, fresh manicure, oil hasn`t even had time to soak in...ow boy was that nessacery :S This kind of weather makes my hands so dry. A couple of showers a day, lots of washing hands during the day as well....and I can`t find the time to apply some creme or moisturisers cause work is sooo busy.

First I`d like to start with a couple of photos...aahhh been a while since I had polish on my nails. After the NY trip I had to give my nails a full week off as well. Not that I had tried on so many polishes there or treating them wrong...but they looked terrible. Last day I had to carry around my bags and suitcase etc etc and they just looked like they needed a little TLC first :)

But today it was time to get rid of that naked look!!

Let me introduce you to Catherine Arley 671...a holo. I can`t tell what kind of color it is exactly. It`s not 100% silver, it has a slight hint of "sand" in it, but as you use your hands during the day I had the feeling it looked a bit violet as well almost blueish. It`s a very soft toned color that I reaalllly like!

Oeehh and I received an award!!!

It`s been a busy week. Trying to get back into work etc again after only 2 weeks of vacation. And ieks what a week, summer is on it`s way so it`s getting busier in the pharmacy....Since it was a vacation filled with loads of impressions and feelings, I just had to give it all a little place I think. I`ve been watching my photos on a regular base. Touching, feeling and smelling all that I bought as well. I just had an amazing time...and I wanna go back!!!

Some of the dishes we ate. As you can see it`s rather fat/fastfood like. I`m not saying this was our only choise...we picked these out ourselves cause we just had high interest in the tastes. Ofc we had "healthy" food as well. Lovely pizzas, pastas, salads, fruits, fish dishes etc etc....But just look at the ham-sandwich we ate at one of the museums. It`s filled up megaaa :) mmm and I can still taste the lovely lemon jelly filled donuts from DD nomnomnom

*edit* ooow I forgot to take pictures when we went to the cinema :S The colas and popcorn were huuuuge!!!

What we saw in NY :)

This was our actuall start within New York, ofc we came by plane. We took a shuttle bus which dropped us of at the Grand Central Terminal and from here we took a subway to our hotel ( hotel was half a block away from Queensboro Plaza ). Seen it in quite some movies it was awsome just walking around the terminal. The size, colors everything went in wow-mode :)

Hahaha, this was our view directly from our hotelroom :) Nice huh. But we could look further in the distance left and right and made some amazing NY by night shots as well. There wasn`t any stinky smell from that dump, only loud noises. Actually entire NY had noises all day long, which we aren`t used of.

Bonjour madame...damn it was hot this day.

After a loooong walk we finally found Magnolia Bakery on Bleeker Street. I bought 2 cupcakes, and ate em all by myself nomnomnom. Hubby doesn`t really care for cakes, too bad for him ;) We visited another Magnolia Bakery where I bough 4!! cupcakes and the cookbook as well wooop, can finally try make red velvet ones myself.

One of the foodshops in the old meatfactory district, Chelsea Market. Everyone should visit this maze of food shops, it looks so amazing.

One of the comic shops hubby wanted to visit. We did have more addresses, but turned out some were headquarters as well big bummer.

Bronx Zoo, loved this image. We did got some snaps of the animals as well ofc, but I won`t bore you with those ;)

This was actually my favorite museum which we entered, American Museum of Natural History. I can tell you everything about giant sauropods now as we went to the special exhibition as well ;)

Nonono...this is not Disney land, though it felt a bit like it. This is an outlet shopping centre. Now I can see your eyebrows raise...wtfrak.. are you doing there when you are in NY... My brother comes here often and his stories about his shoppingsprees just gotten into me, I had to see for myself. It was amazing!!! I loved this place :)

Guggenheim....this was a dream comming true. Since I`ve wanted to visit NY, about 15years, this museum was on my list as well. But what a disapointment omg...I tend not to write about things I don`t like in live...what`s the point, but this was actually. Great building, paintings we saw were okay, but inbetween expositions they tend to rebuild the place a bit, so loads of nois and hardly any collection displayed, boehoee. I want my 10dollar back!

Central Park, first time we enterred it, we took a strole underneath the reservoir.later on the 10days we also saw the "Imagine" plaque in Strawberry Fields spot.
It was weird to see such harmony, a sereen place. People cycle, run or walk...and acros the roads hectic life was still going on :)

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center. We choose an early visit as we might be able to see far into the distance. I would love to go there again some day and visit it by evening/night, but I think it will be waaaayy more crowded :)

Madness on Times Square, hahaha her dress was all black at the bottom duuh.
All the lights, sounds, billboards, shops, people and traffic, but it wasn`t a mental place at all. Everyone was just looking around, enjoying.

Ofc we saw many many other things. we went to Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, we visited many shops and areas, sat in different parks as well. This is just a tiny view of how we experienced it ofc :)

Ow ow ow...never had I had such a jetlag as now :S It`s already been 2 full days to try to adjust back to my "old" life again.

We had a great 10day trip to one of the most amazing cities on this planet. Never had I experienced all these oehs and aahs that much. We have seen great things, taste great things, bought great things and I`m so not done yet. It`s sooo huge and wide, has an amazing wide range of shops, museums, restaurants, cultures, well you name it really. It almost felt like an amusements park from the moment we got out of the airplane, in a good way don`t get me wrong. I`ve been walking on an experience-cloud for 10days long, and it didn`t bore me 1 single minute :) I want more of this....we`ll just have to see when.

We both got ill, cause of the weather, for us it was a wee bit to warm, between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius, and used airconditioning quite a lot. Switching between cold and warm made us both catch a cold. Me having some breathing problems cause of astma, and hubby might have eaten something wrong in one of the restaurants (he`s allergic to raw onion) set us back 1,5 days, but it wasn`t that bad.

I`ll try to show my view, my photos of things we saw, things we ate, and all the goodies I bought in the next couple of blogentries.

my new shawl

Just before we went on out trip we had diner at my hubbies parents. His stephmom showed me a shawl she knitted herself. I was quite surprised by the looks and when she told me it would only took her about 2 days to finish I was like wow. She showed me some wool...and ofc I fell for the purpleness, she would make me one as well weee. After indeed after 2 days she was at our door handing me the lovely shawl. When we`re back i really need to ask her what technique is used for it!

Thanks to Carolina I received one of the Glam Slam editions from OPI. These are very hard to get in my silly country, and I feel so lucky now :) I hope your Gosh - Holo will arrive soon Carolina!!!

The shimery one is called Rally Pretty Pink...and it is!! I haven`t tried it yet, but it looks amazing in the bottle. Gold shimmer all over in a pink/red base, topped with a vibrant red creme crackle coat...can`t wait :)

I always think it`s a waste to use up glitter polishes. most I own really need 3...some even 4 layers to make it all nice shiney all full of glitters. As I`ve seen on many other blogs, this was actually quite handy ofc. First take a polish which is somewhat similar to the colors of glitters and then top it with 1 or 2 layers of glitters. That way you can still have the same color, but with less glitter polish ;)

whuahaha, yes...that is my favorite bathrobe ;) I wear it aaalll the time (when it's not in laundry ofc).

This is one of those products that you just had to buy when you were in store...but haven't tried it yet. it was in my cabinet filled with other beauty stuff and I totally forgot about it :S Since the weather is being quite nice and the sun is shining bright again...and my skin going all greasy as well yuuck, it was time to send out the troops for a serious treatment. Since I have quite a sensitive skin I do watch out what brands of products I use. I never heared of this brand, I bought it at a dutch Sephora, but I thought it would be okay enough to use...and it was. Applying was quite easy and cleaning even more, the result was smashing! Clean clean clean yet very soft skin. It felt as my pores had an extreme exfoliating session, but without all the harshness to my skin. It was very calm and very soft...this one will defo stay in my stash!!

This is somewhat different then I normally bake cakes, but I really wanted to try something out with melon as my hubbie looooves them. I used melon extra flavouring in the bavarois and sliced up half a melon in tiny bits to decorate on top.

It tastes all yummy and fruity, not too sweet at all :)

Boehoe...my Gelac was sort of a fail :S And I think it was my own mistake meh.

Before applying the layers I gave myself a nice manicure, smoothed out all bumps an lines on my nails. That might was the cause of the failure, my nails were too smooth. I didn`t dare to rough them up a bit anymore so the gel didn`t stick too much on the surface and cracked quite fast. I cleaned my house and ofc the water wasn`t any help either, only made it worse. I could peel of the layers of gel..which is actually terrible for you nails on one side..but the other side it was better to do so then soak my nails for 20minutes in aceton :S

I didn`t take any pictures of teh peeling effect as it wasn`t a pleasant sight haha and I only show I like and love. I just wanted to inform you sweeties what went wrong.

As I mentioned before, upcomming monday my Ny trip will begin yaaaayyy, and I`ll make sure to give myself a nice manicure and Gelac treatment before bed on sunday. I WILL make sure the surface of my nails is roughened up a bit so it wont happen again. Between shooting pics of sightseeing and building I`ll let you girls know how my nails are doing haha.

Before leaving I still have some posts, and whilest we`re gone I`ll make sure to keep you entertained as well ofc ;)

OPI Skull & Glossbones + Silver Shatter

The lovely light grey from OPI`s - Pirates edition. Lovely as in shade and structure ofc. I used 2 thin coats on top of a bc, waited a while to dry completly and then applies a thin layer of Silver Shatter. In the pictures it`s quite clear to see it`s a shatter/crackle polish, but in rl this combo is hardly noticable. I`d rather use it on the pink/purple or on Mermaid's Tears.

Wooptiedoooo today my new phone finally arrived :) I mentioned a while ago I wanted anew phone as I was about to expand my subscription...but I had the wrong date in mind ggrr so an extra 2 months waiting and now I have it woop! Smasung Galaxy Ace, white edition. I`ve put myself on a quick course of how to use Twitter haha, ow boy do I need training....

I can`t believe I haven`t showed these 2 products by Pupa...think i own them for about 2 months now. Pupa products aren't being sold in my silly town, nor can I ever find them in Utrecht or Amsterdam. When I visit my sweet friend I always stop by the drugstore in her town, DA, where they do have the latest collection.

The big red/pink shiney box containes a product called Pure Light Blush. It`s a very subte pink blush with shimmers in it. As I have fair skin i can`t use dark pinks or even orange toned blushes, so this one works perfect for me. The shimmers really "illuminate" your skin, giving it a healthy tone. The only problem I have is...I don`t own a descent blush-brush...but no fear, NY is 1 week away and my shopping spree will begin :)

The black/pink polka dotted box contains an eyeshadow from Pupas spring collection "Very Vintage". It`s a combined baked eyeshadow with a half moon or silver and rest is silky pearly pink :) (it`s nr 1 on this page ) It`s a great combination of colors. After using an eyelid primer, colors stayed on perfect all day. Pupa...you make your products soo big ! I will never finish up this eyeshadow :S Nonetheless both awsome products on my list :)

OPI In The Spot-Light Pink + I Juggle...Men

These were taken pre Gelac. A lovely soft pink which builds up strong layer after layer...very suitable for french manicures, topped with 1 layer of tiny glitters from I Juggle...Men. The pinky is the pinkest one from the Cirque de Femme collection released by OPI and I looove it! I love the jellynes of the polish, it truely glides on your nail, after 3 layers its a very cute soft pink. This is I think my new favorite for indeed french manicures...if only I could find a descent white :S

Some say....certain things should be done by professionals. And they are actually right. I wouldn`t have surgery by my General Practitioner indeed. But when it comes to doing my nails, I`m willing to try out everything myself. Applying gellac with an UV lamp...wow I reaaalllyy wanted to try that! I`ve had acrylics last year, that`s where my polish obsession started really, and I wouldn`t choose that again. As I am very clumpsy and at work I walk around with "heavy" boxes as well, I`m always afraid some of the nails might tear or partially get ripped off bleughh.

I orderd my lovely pink UV lamp from Evulbay and picked out Gelac from IBD at one of the polish-netshops I regularly buy my polishes at. I picked out a bonding base-coat, colored Pink Kiss and topcoat. Each has it`s own cure-time for the UVlamp.

It resulted in a lovely glossy healthy pink colored gel layer. It`s not too thick as gel or acrylic nails would be, but it`s a bit thicker then normal polish would be. Other polishes can be used over it...and can be cleaned with regular polish remover (acetonefree ones ofc). This Gelac is a so called soak off gel...should take up to 20 minutes soaking in acetone to get rid of the layers. The only thing that worries me a bit is when my nails will grow...it will leave a gab between my cuticles and the gel..how will I restore it?! Will see about that ;)

As I mentioned in a post earlier, I had ordered OPI's - Pirates of the Caribbean 2 times by "accident". I ordered them at seperate netshops as pre-orders but/and luckily I had the chance of getting them at both weeee.

But what to do with them?! I already used some from the first USA shipment, so the other one Singapore shipment is a spare i would like to get rid of :) (As you can see each bottle has a little sticker attacked, which is easily removed. It`s a waranty seal all my OPI polishes from that store have, can be pealed of very well ) I still have a Black Shatter which I don`t "need" and would love to give a good home.

If someone would like to buy all 8 or swap them let me know, I like to sell/swap as a set (with or without Black Shatter)

At the same day I bought Catrice - Enter Wonderland LE I got my hands on 2x Gosh Holo!!!!!! (with fixed base-coat) I couldn`t leave them for the anounced buy 1 get 1 free, cause I was sure they would be gone by that time! I will try to keep an eye out at the shop, but since I'm not very fond of our Kruitvat anymore max. visits will be 2 times a week when I`m at work.

These are not for sale ;) Can only be swapped, they go as a pair ( 1Holo + 1fbc), let me know if you`re itnerested :)

my new ring

I made a ring! I went to a workshop with my mother, and since we booked it for just the 2 of us we had all the attention and help we wanted from the "teacher". We brought our own old silver and gold and made sure our whishes were clear.

At first I had some troubles with what to create as my mind went in flipmode :S A broche...a necklace/hanger..or a ring aarghh did I want a birdsnest with pearly eggs in it, did I want a birdscage or did I just want something else meaningless but fun :S

I went through some brochures, googles a bit, watched some brands' webpages etc etc And I stole some ideas which ended up in the following ring :)

On the ends it's a bit wider so the loose rings won't fall off and in the middle the rings just bangle a bit. I've polishes the big ring itself, and try to matify the 3 little rings, which have a text on them. it was quite a work, but the end result...is pretty much what I wanted it to be! A very heavy ring, which in unique to me.

Ofc you can stamp each text in it you want to. I was thinking about a nice phrase from my favorite book Romeo & Juliet...but I came acros a latin line which I thought was very funny. Translation would be something like; "if you can read this text, your education has been too high"....in a humorous way ofc since I couldn't read it ;)

I'm showing you nr 3 Wonderland Green Card. In the picture I`m actually having 1 layer sandwiched between a bc and tc, and it looked very good!! Tbh a second layer of color wouldn't be necessary.

It`s a fresh bright green, which I'll be wearinga lot I think! Would love to try out some stamping on it....and with it!

Ahhh I looove these colors, I fell in love the moment I read about it on other peoples blogs. I so desperatly wanted this that I made pre-oders with 2 differnt companies...and both shipped it out :S Tomorrow I can get my other package from the postoffice...

I was going through my Helmer...and extra boxes and I saw so many little Koh boxes laying around :S I emptied them all and lined up the colors....asking myself why I need 2x Color Booster and 2x Wipe-it Away haha I think I`ll place those in a swap box :) I never even noticed having 10 polishes as well...but then again I didn`t buy em all!! I received some from magazine subscription welcome goodies weee free polish!!!

Ooeeh I haven't showed my latest cake yet ow ow ow ow. It was a total fail :) I couldn't get the marzipan the way I wanted it to fold over the cake, nonetheless it was very yummy! Chocolate bisque with cherry flavored/red colored filling.

A couple of weeks ago I bought 2 glitter eyeliners by Teeez. Gutsy a somehwat white/silver and Outta Contral a lilac one ( I`m wearing the lilac one in the pictures). I love the amount of glitters in it. Sometimes when you aply glitter eyeliner, you can get the feeling you smear out all gel stuff and the glitters themselves will just stick on the little brush...specially when it`s been opened a while :S This stuf is amazing! I love it :) Perfectly dosed glitters, no scent at all and the price is low. I think I payed about 4euros each.

After a busy week, I`ve planned a lazy weekend :)

Work was terrible the entire week :S, today it`s Queensday in this silly country and I just want to stay inside and curl up on the couch with snacks and chick series...instead I`ll bake an awsome cake. I went to a little shop nearby which sells aaaalll stuff needed (tools, ingredients, paper boxes etc etc you name it) to bake cupcakes, bigger cakes, decorate stuff. It`s almost heaven visiting that place, I never walk out without buying anything. Good thing I took the hubbie along; 1 I didn`t want to go alone and 2 he payed for my turn stand yay!!

I got some eatable glitters, some flavoring (melon, cherry yumm yumm), bavarois, cherub molds for marzipan or fondant and a couple of cardboard cake boards.

Now all I need is my enthousiasm to come back alive and get my butt off this chair hahaha

Oeh I wanted to show my little bouquet of flowers I`ve bought last week from 2 small girls who rang our doorbell. They had flowers for sale; 1 flower would cost 5cents, a small bouquet would be 30 cents and a bigger bouquest would be 50 cents...ofc I picked out the bigger one. Too bad they only lasted 1 day :) But I`m sure that 50 cents will be spend on fun stuff.

I`m using Teeez glitter eyeliner atm,which I loooove, I`ll be posting about it this evening ;)

I did warn you!! It`s an amazing sheer polish, this is 3 layers, no bc and tc. I must admit I didn`t clean up as it was purely to show you all what a bright color this is. My brother picked it out himself during his last trip to NY. I do love the color, but I`m afraid it will be a toe color. As for my fingers it`s, specially since I haven`t tanned yet, too bright. I think patients at work will go into shockphase :S

Just a little comparison between the purple holos that I own. I must admit colors look alike quite more in daylight....

I haven`t worn Teeez as a full mani yet, I only bought it yesterday. All these 3 colors were applied without a bc and tc, and all are 2 layers. I mildly cleaned up just for the photo.

Too bad it`s a rather dark picture, but the color and shimmery holo effect represent the polish quite well :)

This is 1 layer of special holo-bc by Gosh, 2 layers of polish and topped of with 1 layer tc, polish glides on perfect, was easy to clean up. Sometimes holos do weird things when you apply a tc. Specially Gosh`s one looses it`s intensity a bit, but the Catherine Arley ones don`t. They just shine more and last longer. The polishes I own from this brand are all perfect, if you`re able to get your hands on em....do so!!

an off-day bleughh....

Everybody has one of those days...everything you do goes wrong, or you constantly drop things out of your hands, slight little mistakes during work, and the feeling you just want to go home and go to bed, or in some cases take a nice relax chair and curl up inside it in the sunshine outside...

Well I kind of have that feeling for a while :) as in a few weeks, but I think the lack of actual sunshine has a big part in that. Today was just an extremed day. Even though I had arranged to end work 2 hours earlier ( thats cause I`ve got a working course next week which unfortunatly makes me do overwork, so compensation today was aproved) I had a terrible day bleugh....

I got home...browsed internet a bit like I always do, made a nice order of polishes...like I sometimes do, oeh shoppinnggg, didn`t had any desirable feeling of cooking diner at all so I went out to get fries and snacks (in most coutnries fries are a side-dish, but here it can be maincourse with side snacks usually meatkind), we watched out House episode and I went to bed for a tiny nap cause I couldn`t keep my eyes open...

Next thing I know it`s 2 hours later aarrghhh the horror!! I could have done many nice things or even chores in and around the house. Bah bah bah. So I had the chance of going home early and perhaps do some foodshopping or do my "chores" then, instead I didn`t do anything AND I slept most of the evening...it`s such a waste of a perfect day!!!

To not fully let the day slip away I gave myself an amazing shower and used most of my Lush products so I smell all yummy now :) A little "Angels on Bare Skin" on my face traaalala, "Almond & Coconut Smoothie" all over my body mmmm this is a yummy perfect product!!, shampoo bar "New" through my hair wow tingling sensation of cinnamon, afterwards "R&B" conditioner through my hair...just a tiny amount otherwise it`ll grease up to fast ieuw, now I`m scrubbing my lips with "Lip Dip", and I`ve got "Lemony Flutter" reserved before bedtime ;)

And now.....I can relax and enjoy the rest of my evening ;)

She got me a freedom pallette with 4 colors ( I got to pick the colors and I think I`ve made the best choice, they`re amazing!!) and a matte gel eyeliner...aaahhh :) Oow and not in the picture but I did specially bought Too Faced - Shadow Insurance. Just to make sure my beautiful Inglot will stay on all day.
